Doesn't appear to work on LittleFe when booting off of live cd. It complains about running as root, explaining that LAM should be run as a standard user.

Works fine across multiple nodes on a liberated littleFE

Aaron, Gus, and Sam were able to replicate the behavior listed above with revision 2290. As non-root it produces no errors.
