Works fine on a single node, but when I try to use mpirun to run it across the littlefe cluster it runs for a little, and then dies.

Aaron, Gus, and Sam attempted this on a live USB running revision 2290.

Normal user, 1 process on one node: Graphically, the cells in the automaton don't move at all once the window opens.
Normal user, 2 processes on one node: Graphically, the cells move as expected.
Superuser: 1 process on one node: Runtime error "Life: Life.c:262: setupWindow: Assertion `dpy' failed. \ Aborted."
Superuser: 2 processes on one node: Runtime error "configuration file /etc/mpd.conf is accessible by others \ change permissions to allow read and write access only by you."
