BCCD Downloads
This repository hosts the public images of the Bootable Cluster CD project.
The most ideal situation to boot these images under is where a DHCP and DNS server are configured to support your local network. Support for these services are provided on the BCCD image (dhcpd3 and pdnsd), but these services should be configured on a head node before booting the remaining clients. Instructions for configuring these services on your network using a BCCD image are covered in the wiki
The current stable image is the bccd-2.2.1c7.iso.
The current development images are found in the BCCD-2.2.2-pre, which extend the support for OpenMosix, support for running in ram (freeing your CD drive), and several clustering script tweaks.
Don't overlook the PPC images that are under development! Check them out under BCCD-2.2-BETA-IMAGES
Customized images (tailored to your environment) are very straight forward to create from CVS. If you're interested, feel free to contact the bccd mailing-list at bccd@bccd.cs.uni.edu.
